Visit Us

There are different ways you can arrange to visit us:
College Open/Visit Days
Campus tours
Outreach events for schools and collegesCollege Open/Visit Days

These run in April and September. You get the chance to take a tour of the campus and meet members of academic staff and current undergraduates from the School of Physics and Astronomy as part of the subject fair.

The next event is in April 2010. You can find out more here.

Campus tours

If you would like to visit the campus and go on a general tour, this can be booked through the Education Liaison Office.

If you would like to meet someone from the School of Physics and Astronomy please request this when booking. Please note that we are not always able to arrange appointments to coincide with campus tours - it will depend on availability so please give us as much notice as possible.

Outreach Activities for Schools and Colleges

We regularly run physics activities for schools for a variety of agegroups. If you are interested in finding out what it's like to be an undergraduate or if you're interested in attending a summer school, please visit our outreach pages.

Juno Champion

The school holds Juno Champion status, the highest award of this IoP scheme to recognise and reward departments that can demonstrate they have taken action to address the under-representation of women in university physics and to encourage better practice for both women and men.
