What to Do
Societies

All of the members of our societies have something in common, whether it’s an interest in finding out more about Asian culture or even sharing their love of Harry Potter, we’re sure you will be able to find a society to suit you. Our Physics undergraduates run a society called PsiStar which organises regular seminars and trips to places like the theatre and theme parks.
Sports Clubs

There are many different clubs at Queen Mary, so you can either continue playing something you did at school or you could try something new. Ever fancied mountaineering? Our club arranges trips all over the UK and Europe. The football club has more than 10 teams, so you can go along to train seriously to play for the university in competitions or you can just go along to have some fun.

A full list of all societies and sports clubs can be found on the Students’ Union website
Health and Fitness Centre

QMotion is our new health and fitness centre incorporating a gym, sports suite and studios for classes such as yoga and martial arts. We also have a ladies only gym equipped with a wide range of equipment. In addition the site includes a squash court and sports hall suitable for badminton, volleyball and basketball. Students have reduced membership fees.
