The main content of your modules will be delivered in lectures. Tutorials are used to explore the material discussed in lectures in more depth, using problems set by the lecturer. Tutorials are supervised by a lecturer and delivered by PhD students who are there to answer any questions you have on the content and problems set. This is a good opportunity to ask any questions you have about the material and to get support.

Juno Champion

The school holds Juno Champion status, the highest award of this IoP scheme to recognise and reward departments that can demonstrate they have taken action to address the under-representation of women in university physics and to encourage better practice for both women and men.
