Physics Academy

Build skills and subject knowledge at this week-long research based programme for year 12 students.

Carry out real research and experience university physics at this week-long summer school. The Academy is designed to improve presentation skills, team-working and problem solving and is an excellent chance to develop subject knowledge of physics and mathematics.

Successful applicants will work in groups on a piece of physics research over the course of one working week. The Physics Academy is aimed at bright students of physics and maths AS-level and gives attendees the chance to investigate a specific area of physics before presenting a short talk to their own teachers and academics from Queen Mary University of London.

n.b. This week-long programme is non-residential so participants will need to be able to travel to the Queen Mary campus each day.

Unfortunately the Physics Academy will not be running in 2017.
